Financial support for the museum can be provided in a variety of ways: one-time donations, annual gifts, special project funding, fundraising events, capital projects and legacy gifts. All donations, including products or services, of $20 or more will receive a charitable tax receipt.

Planned Giving
Contribute to the museum's future by planning for a special kind of gift. Planned giving provides opportunities for those who are interested in making a charitable gift to the Foundation through their will or other legacy giving options. A legacy gift provides the donor with tax benefits while ensuring the museum's role in Lloydminster as a vibrant, creative and desirable place to visit.
Legacy gift donors are encouraged to have their plans reviewed by their professional advisors and to notify the Foundation of their intentions.
All information pertaining to donors and donations received by the Foundation is considered absolutely confidential.
One easy way to include the museum in your estate plan is to name Richard Larsen Barr Colony Foundation Inc. as a beneficiary of your donor advised fund, retirement plan, or life insurance policy. Doing so is as simple as filling out a beneficiary designation form from your plan provider or administrator.
We would like to have the opportunity to discuss leaving a legacy gift to the Foundation and to ensure that your wishes are fulfilled. If your gift direction is more complex, we would be happy to work with you to draft a document of understanding specifying your wishes.
